# Team members and roles

> Invite people to your organization and control what they can access

Add the people who help you run events and give each of them only the access they need. Team management lives in `Settings → User & Role`.

## Roles

| Role             | Can do                                                                                                                        |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Admin** | Full access — create and edit events, connect Stripe, manage team, promoters, communication, reporting, and settings. |
| **Scanner Plus** | Check attendees in with the scanner app for the events they are assigned to. No access to event setup, payments, or settings. |

<Note>
  **Scanner Plus** is the role you assign when inviting someone from this screen. It is scoped to the specific events you select, so a scanner working one show cannot see any of your others.
</Note>

## Edit or remove a team member

Each row in the user list has two controls on the right:

* **Pencil** — edit the person's details, role, or assigned events.
* **Trash** — remove them from your organization.

<Warning>
  Removing a user immediately revokes their access, including their ability to scan tickets at an event that is currently running. Double-check before removing someone on event day.
</Warning>

## Search your team

Use the `Search User` box above the list to filter by name once your team grows.
