Before any payout can happen
Your Stripe account must show Complete inSettings → Payment & Ticket Fees, and the bank account details you gave Stripe during onboarding must be verified. See Connect Stripe.
When you get paid
Payouts run on the schedule set on your Stripe account. For most new accounts Stripe holds the first payment for a short period before releasing funds, then settles on a rolling basis after that. Because the schedule lives on the Stripe side, the authoritative view is your Stripe dashboard — it shows each payout, its status, its amount, and the expected arrival date.Donations collected through donations arrive on the same schedule as ticket revenue, through the same Stripe account.
What you actually receive
The amount that lands is your ticket revenue minus the service and processing fees, adjusted for any refunds you have issued. If you passed fees on to attendees, the fees came out of what they paid and your revenue is the full ticket price. If you absorbed them, they come out of your side. See Service and processing fees. Promoter commission is tracked separately and is not deducted from your Stripe payout — you settle it through the Payouts tab on the Promoters page.A payout failed
Work through these in order:- Open your Stripe dashboard and look for a banner requesting information or documents.
- Check the bank details on file — a closed account or a mistyped account number is the most common cause.
- Check for a verification hold — Stripe may need identity documents before releasing funds on a newer account.
- Re-check your TixFix status in
Settings → Payment & Ticket Fees— if it no longer reads Complete, reconnect.
Refunds
Refunding an attendee reduces the amount available in your next payout. If you refund after a payout has already settled, the amount is taken from subsequent revenue. See Transfer or cancel a ticket.Still stuck? Email contact@tixfix.ai with your event name and a screenshot.
