Selling paid tickets requires a connected Stripe account. If you only need free registrations, you can skip that step.
Create and publish

Open Events and click Create Event
Sign in at app.tixfix.ai and go to
Events in the left sidebar. Click Create Event.You can also start from the Create Event button on the Tixy banner on your dashboard.2
Describe your event
Fill in the
Event Title — aim for 80 characters or fewer — and write an Event Description. This description appears at the top of your public event page.If you’d rather not write it yourself, describe the event in the Tixy box at the top of the page and click Generate Event to have it drafted for you.3
Set the dates and time zone
Choose a
Start Date and End Date (both include a time), then pick the Time Zone. Attendees see times in the zone you select here.4
Add a cover image and categorize the event
Upload a
Cover Image at 1200 × 800 px, under 5 MB, in JPG, PNG, or GIF format. Then choose a category under Event Type, set the age restriction, and add a few tags.See Event details and venue for guidance on each field.5
Enter the venue address
Under
Venue, start typing the address — Address Line 1, City, State, and Zip are required. A map preview confirms the location.6
Click Create and Continue
This saves the event and moves you to the second step of the wizard.

Choose free or paid, then add a ticket category
On the Almost There! screen, select
Paid Event or Free Event.Click Add New Ticket Category and give it a name (for example General), a quantity, a price, and a sales window. Repeat for any additional tiers such as VIP.Full detail: Ticket types and pricing.8
Connect Stripe if your event is paid
Paid tickets cannot sell until a Stripe account is linked. See Connect Stripe.

Review the registration form
Name and email are collected by default and phone is optional. Add your own questions with
Add Custom Form if you need more — dietary choices, for example.Full detail: Registration form and custom questions.10
Publish your event
Turn on Make this event public if you want the event listed on the TixFix app, then click
Publish. Not ready? Save as Draft keeps it private until you are.Full detail: Publish and visibility.11
View your public event page
Open the event from the
Events list and click View Event to see exactly what attendees see, including the Register button. Share the link from the share icon on the event card.12
Watch the orders come in
Your dashboard shows
Net Sales, Tickets Sold, Tickets Scanned, and Event Views for each event. For the list of individual attendees, see Guest list.What to do next
